Marlink has launched the External Attack Surface Management (EASM) solution, aimed at improving cybersecurity for its clients by detecting potential threats proactively.
This initiative follows the establishment of Marlink’s new entity, Marlink Cyber, which focuses on identifying vulnerabilities in external digital infrastructures across various sectors, including maritime, energy, yachting, and enterprise.
As digitalisation increases, many organisations are unaware of the extent to which their digital assets are exposed.
The EASM solution offers continuous and automated protection by detecting potential data leaks, misconfigurations, spoofed domains, and other vulnerabilities across a company’s internet-facing systems.
Key features of the EASM solution include real-time asset discovery, vulnerability detection, threat intelligence integration, and 24/7 monitoring.
Additionally, it includes “Dark Web” and credential leak detection, enabling comprehensive scans of the dark web for stolen data and obscure threat actor databases.
Customers can implement the EASM solution without the need for additional hardware or extensive setup time, supporting compliance with international standards such as ISO 27001.
Marlink Cyber president Nicolas Furge said: “The launch of EASM marks another milestone in Marlink’s mission to redefine cybersecurity standards through constant innovation and customer-centric services.”
In February this year, Marlink announced its support for Knutsen Group’s digital transformation by implementing the Sealink NextGen solution across its fleet.
