NAVTOR Expands Presence with New Office in Dubai

NAVTOR, a leading e-Navigation and performance technology provider in the maritime industry, has recently announced the opening of a new office in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This strategic move aims to support regional growth and offer enhanced support to local shipping companies.

The newly launched NAVTOR Middle East office marks the company’s 13th dedicated regional office worldwide. Building on the success of NAVTOR Türkiye, the Dubai center will provide cutting-edge smart shipping solutions to help shipping companies improve efficiencies, safety, sustainability, and overall business and operational performance.

Heading the operations in the Middle East is Amitabh Sankranti, the visionary behind NAVTOR’s groundbreaking Digital Logbooks. As the Managing Director – Middle East, Sankranti will spearhead the company’s efforts to drive innovation and deliver value to customers in the region.

With a growing portfolio of integrated e-Navigation and Performance solutions, NAVTOR has experienced significant growth in the Middle East. The decision to establish a presence in Dubai comes after years of successful collaboration with local agent Blue Chip Marine (BCM).

In a statement, Sankranti emphasized the importance of having a local presence in key maritime centers like Dubai. He highlighted the region’s emergence as a global shipping hub and the increasing number of shipping companies and management firms choosing Dubai as a strategic base.

Existing customers are being transitioned from BCM to NAVTOR Middle East, with Shamanth Denrice D’Souza joining as the Regional Sales Director – Middle East. The Dubai office will focus on raising awareness about NAVTOR’s digital ecosystem and solutions, such as NavStation and NavFleet, while providing top-notch service and support to a growing customer base.
