Norbit’s new WBMS X Multibeam Sonar

Introducing Norbit Subsea’s Latest Innovation: The WBMS X

Norbit Subsea has unveiled its newest addition to the multibeam sonar family, the WBMS X. This ultra-compact system is designed with flexibility in mind, offering a customizable solution for a variety of operational environments.

Customizable Features

The WBMS X can be tailored to meet specific needs, with standard bundles including integrated Applanix or SBG GNSS/INS. For applications such as ROV, a non-integrated version is also available.

For those requiring enhanced data density, the option to upgrade to 1024 True Beams or add Dual Swath is available. Active stabilization for dynamic conditions can be achieved through the addition of Pitch and Yaw Stabilization.
