Oceanology International 2026: Connecting the Global Ocean Community
Oceanology International, the world’s leading forum for ocean science, engineering, and technology, is set to return to London’s ExCeL from March 10-12, 2026. This three-day event will bring together professionals from various ocean industries, including offshore energy, ocean observation, and defense, to showcase innovative solutions driving the future of ocean exploration, environmental monitoring, and sustainable marine operations.
One of the exciting additions to the 2026 edition is the launch of COAST, a new focus on coastal and shallow water sectors. This initiative aims to highlight critical areas such as coastal resilience, infrastructure, and engineering, ensuring that coastal protection and development take center stage at the event. With participants from over 80 countries, COAST will further enrich the diverse Oceanology International (Oi) program, showcasing breakthrough advancements in coastal protection, erosion control, and climate adaptation.
Awarded the prestigious title of RX UK Show of the Year in 2024, Oceanology International continues to evolve to meet the demands of the energy transition and blue technology markets. The upcoming edition will feature a comprehensive content program addressing the latest trends and challenges in ocean technology and economics. Attendees can expect sessions focused on exploring, protecting, and sustainably operating in our oceans and waterways.
As part of the preparations for Oi26, the event has issued a ‘Call for Content,’ inviting individuals and organizations to submit papers for the technical conference program. Interested speakers can submit their proposals by September 30 through the Oi26 website. Selected speakers will have the opportunity to present their research findings, ideas, and case studies to a global audience, fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange.
Visitor registration for Oceanology International 2026 will open in November. In the meantime, those eager to participate can register their interest by visiting the Oceanology website homepage. Don’t miss this chance to be part of a dynamic event that brings together the world’s ocean engineering, technology, and science communities for a unique exchange of ideas and innovations.
