Aberdeen-based OEG Secures Three-Year Contract with International Oil Major

Aberdeen-based offshore contractor OEG has announced the signing of a significant three-year contract with an undisclosed international oil major. This partnership marks a milestone for OEG as it expands its presence in North America.

Logistics Equipment Supply Agreement

Under the terms of the contract, OEG will be responsible for supplying logistics equipment to support the oil major’s operations in North America. The agreement also includes optional extensions for up to five years, highlighting the long-term commitment between the two entities.

OEG’s cargo carrying units (CCUs) will play a crucial role in ensuring a robust and sustainable fleet that can effectively meet the operational demands of the oil major. The company’s full-service offering, which encompasses inspection, maintenance, and timely replacement of units when needed, will be managed from OEG’s strategically located yards in New Iberia, Port Fourchon, and Houston.

Exceptional Service Delivery

Garett Gauthier, regional director for OEG’s logistics equipment division in North America, expressed his confidence in the company’s ability to deliver exceptional service. He emphasized that OEG’s localized approach to equipment and service delivery played a key role in securing the contract.

“OEG is recognized for its exceptional service delivery, which was a determining factor in finalizing the agreement. Our localised approach to equipment and service delivery will help to strengthen our relationship with our customer by enabling close collaboration and fast response times,” said Gauthier.

This partnership is a testament to OEG’s commitment to providing high-quality logistics solutions tailored to meet the unique needs of its clients in the offshore industry.
