Perdana Petroleum Secures New AHTS Vessel Charter Contract

Malaysian offshore marine support services firm Perdana Petroleum has announced the successful bid for a new contract involving the charter of an anchor handling tug and supply (AHTS) vessel.

The 120-day contract was awarded to Perdana Nautika, a wholly owned subsidiary of Perdana Petroleum. The client’s identity remains confidential due to undisclosed reasons.

The AHTS vessel will provide crew and equipment for round-the-clock services to various offshore operations, including drilling rigs, offshore installations, derrick barges, towing, and anchor handling tasks.

Furthermore, the contract includes an option for a 100-day extension, with the overall value subject to additional work orders issued throughout the project duration.

Perdana Petroleum currently operates a fleet of 14 offshore support vessels, including five AHTS vessels. The specific vessel designated for this contract was not disclosed by the company.
