Perdana Petroleum Secures Contracts for Two AHTS Vessels
Malaysian offshore marine support services firm Perdana Petroleum has recently announced that it has successfully secured contracts for the charter of two Anchor Handling Tug Supply (AHTS) vessels.
The contracts, awarded by Hess’ Malaysian subsidiary, entail the provision of two AHTS vessels complete with crews and equipment to carry out the specified scope of work as per the charterer’s requirements.
Although the exact value of the contracts has not been disclosed, it has been revealed that the agreements are set to span a duration of three years, with an option for a possible three-year extension.
This latest development comes on the heels of Perdana Petroleum’s recent success in winning a work order from energy supermajor Shell for the charter of two accommodation work barges, also spanning a three-year period.
