POSH Expands Towage and Installation Fleet with New AHT Vessel, POSH Courage

PACC Offshore Services Holdings (POSH), a leading offshore marine solutions provider, has recently announced the addition of a new anchor handling towing (AHT) vessel to its fleet, named POSH Courage. This strategic expansion aims to strengthen POSH’s capabilities in undertaking larger or multiple towages, thereby enhancing the company’s ability to execute concurrent projects and provide clients with greater scheduling flexibility and operational scalability.

Designed for demanding global offshore infrastructure projects, POSH Courage is equipped with a Dynamic Positioning Class 2 (DP2) system and boasts a formidable bollard pull of 203 tonnes. This makes the vessel well-suited for intercontinental floating production, storage and offloading (FPSO) tows, deepwater mooring installations, and complex rig moves, operating reliably even in challenging offshore environments.

Eric Ng, Head of Offshore Projects at POSH, emphasized the significance of the new addition, stating, “POSH Courage represents more than just fleet expansion. It enhances our ability to deliver timely, reliable, and efficient offshore project solutions globally. With more vessels in play, we are well-positioned to support multiple projects simultaneously and meet the growing demands of the offshore energy industry.”

The POSH Courage joins POSH’s esteemed C Series fleet of anchor handling towing vessels specifically designed for deepwater and intercontinental towage, mooring, and hook-up operations. With this latest addition, POSH’s global fleet now comprises 45 vessels, solidifying its reputation as a trusted partner for complex marine projects worldwide.
