PrismaTibro Sweden develops and manufactures high-quality electronic devices, such as Prisma DI-5 and Prisma DI-5C Deflection Indicators, for diesel and gas engine manufacturers, as well as shipping and offshore companies.

Crankshaft deflection measurement devices

Most engineers are familiar with the importance of regular checks on diesel and gas, LNG engine crankshafts, and cylinder liners. Traditional dial gauge checks were time-consuming and inaccurate. PrismaTibro’s electronic deflection indicators, Prisma DI-5 and DI-5C, provide a more accurate and efficient solution, with an optional Prisma Ovality Kit for cylinder liner checks.

Accurate electronic deflection gauges

PrismaTibro’s electronic deflection gauges simplify crankshaft alignment checks by eliminating the need to open engines for readings. The transducer fits between crankshaft webs at various positions, displaying results on an external screen. The DI-5C model saves data for computer upload and analysis, enhancing data processing and comparison capabilities.

Deflection indicators for smaller engines

For smaller diesel and gas engines, PrismaTibro offers the DI-5S and DI-5CS deflection indicators with smaller transducers. Both models provide accurate measurements and can be extended for different engine sizes.

Ovality kits for cylinder wear measurement

The Prisma Ovality Kit measures cylinder liner wear and ovality, offering a comprehensive analysis of cylinder conditions. By taking multiple measurements and utilizing software for data analysis, engine operators can monitor cylinder health effectively over time.

Safety standards and customer support

Prisma DI-5 and DI-5C ensure staff safety and efficiency in monitoring engine status. PrismaTibro maintains ISO 9001:2015 certification, reflecting its commitment to high production and customer support standards.
