Introducing Hans-Peter Burlid as PXGEO’s Chief Strategy & Transformation Officer
Marine geophysical services company PXGEO has recently appointed Hans-Peter Burlid to the newly created role of Chief Strategy & Transformation Officer (CS&TO). This strategic move aims to drive long-term growth and sustainable competitive advantage for the organization.
With PXGEO being established in 2021 and currently boasting a workforce of 400 employees across key global locations such as Dubai, Paris, Houston, and Oslo, Burlid’s extensive experience and deep understanding of the company’s operations make him a valuable asset in this new position.
Prior to joining PXGEO, Burlid spent over a decade at Polarcus, a leading geophysical service provider, where he held the position of CFO for five years. His background in finance and strategic planning positions him well to drive PXGEO’s growth and transformation initiatives.
As part of this organizational shift, PXGEO has initiated a search for a new Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) who will oversee sales, commercial, and business development functions. During this transition period, Burlid will continue to fulfill the CCO role to ensure operational continuity and stability.
In response to his new appointment, Burlid expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “I am excited to take on this new responsibility at PXGEO. The opportunity to drive strategic clarity and lead transformative change resonates with my passion for innovation and creating lasting business impact. I am eager to collaborate with Chuck and the team to unlock new growth opportunities and strengthen our position as a global leader in seismic data acquisition.”
