Seequent’s free web application Visible Geology has made a significant impact in the field of earth science education since its launch, attracting 90,000 users from 117 countries in its first year. Developed in partnership with CerebralFix, a renowned game development studio, Visible Geology aims to transform the way students learn about geological concepts.

The inspiration behind Visible Geology stems from a pressing need for more earth scientists to tackle global challenges such as climate change and energy transition. Universities worldwide have reported a decline in enrollments for earth science programs, with statistics showing a substantial decrease in student numbers in countries like Australia, the United Kingdom, and the United States.

Seequent’s vision is to combat this shortage by leveraging innovative educational tools like Visible Geology to inspire and nurture the next generation of earth scientists.
