Dan Hook Joins Seiche as Non-Executive Director

Seiche is pleased to announce the appointment of Dan Hook as Non-Executive Director, effective January 2, 2025. With a strong background in marine technology and innovation, Dan brings a wealth of experience to the company.

Background and Expertise

Dan Hook is a Naval Architect by training, having studied at the University of Southampton. Throughout his career, he has specialized in fast vessel design, weight and stability analysis, and structural engineering. His passion for marine robotics led him to establish ASV Ltd, a leading company in unmanned surface vessel development, which was later acquired by L3 Harris. Dan then went on to serve as Chief Technology Officer at Ocean Infinity before founding RAD Propulsion, where he focuses on advancing technology for electric and smart boats.

Contributions to Marine Science

Aside from his industry roles, Dan has made significant contributions to marine science as a Non-Executive Director of the National Oceanography Centre for the past six years. His expertise and insights have helped drive advancements in marine technology and research.
