Shearwater Geoservices Wins Major Deepwater 4D OBN Contract with ExxonMobil Guyana
Shearwater Geoservices, a leading offshore seismic services firm, has recently announced that it has secured a large deepwater 4D ocean bottom node (OBN) reservoir surveillance program with ExxonMobil Guyana. This significant contract will see Shearwater conducting a six-month survey starting in the first half of 2025.
The field unit for this project will consist of a Shearwater seismic vessel serving as the source vessel, along with a dual ROV vessel for node deployment. This partnership marks a major milestone for Shearwater as it continues to expand its presence in the offshore oil and gas industry.
