Solstad Offshore Secures Contracts for Three Offshore Support Vessels

Norwegian offshore vessel owner Solstad Offshore has recently announced securing contracts with undisclosed clients for three of its offshore support vessels. These contracts mark significant milestones for the company and further solidify its position in the offshore support industry.

Vessels Secured

The vessels that have been hired under these contracts are Normand Jarstein, Normand Australis, and Normand Scorpion. Each vessel will be deployed for different purposes and in various regions, showcasing Solstad Offshore’s versatility and operational capabilities.

Normand Jarstein

The Normand Jarstein, a construction support vessel (CSV), has been awarded a 135-day firm plus option contract for providing subsea support and services in West Africa. This contract, in partnership with Omega Subsea, is set to commence in March 2025, highlighting Solstad Offshore’s commitment to delivering high-quality services in the region.

Normand Australis

Normand Australis, another CSV owned by Solstad Offshore, has secured a 200-day firm plus 90-day option contract for a renewable energy project in Taiwan. With operations scheduled to start in February 2025, this contract underscores the company’s dedication to supporting sustainable energy initiatives globally.

Normand Scorpion

Lastly, the Normand Scorpion, an anchor handling tug supply (AHTS) vessel, has been awarded a 78-day firm plus 42-day option contract for providing rig support in Australia. Commencing in January 2025, this contract demonstrates Solstad Offshore’s ability to cater to diverse offshore support needs across different regions.

Confidential Commercial Conditions
