Norwegian offshore vessel operator Solstad Offshore has recently announced contracts for two of its construction support vessels (CSVs) that will be deployed in South America, showcasing the company’s continued presence and activity in the region.

Contract with Petrobras for Normand Flower CSV

Solstad Offshore’s first contract is with Petrobras for the Normand Flower CSV, which is owned by Solstad Maritime, a subsidiary of Solstad Offshore. The contract, valued at $115 million excluding ROV services, was initially disclosed in April 2025 and has now been formally approved and signed. The contract is set to commence in January 2026 and will span a duration of four years.

The vessel will be on bareboat charter from Solstad Maritime to Solstad Offshore, the contracting entity with Petrobras. This agreement underscores Solstad Offshore’s commitment to providing high-quality vessel services to meet the needs of its clients in the offshore industry.

New Contract for CSV Normand Navigator
