Organisers of the UK’s Southampton International Boat Show have confirmed further details of this year’s event, which is scheduled to take place at Mayflower Park from Friday 19 to Sunday 28 September 2025.

The 2025 edition promises an ‘exciting transformation’ this year, according to organisers British Marine, introducing a revised site plan, a new entrance on Mayflower Park and several newly designated areas tailored to different sectors of interest. The event – heading into its 56th edition – will host a broad range of on-water and on-land exhibitions, showcasing products and services from paddleboards and dinghies to superyachts and marine technologies. The list of exhibiting brands is not confirmed but is expected to be announced shortly.

New areas at this year’s show include The Powerhub, which focuses on powerboats, and Angler’s Alley, a section designed for fishing enthusiasts. The Boating Academy will provide talks and guidance suitable for all levels of boating experience. A new Waterside Lounge will be available exclusively to premium ticket holders, offering a spot for relaxation during the event.

The Marina, a regular feature of the show, will return, offering sea trials, on-water demonstrations and curated displays grouped by boat type. The On The Water stage will also return with a scheduled programme of high-speed marine stunt displays, including jet ski exhibitions.

Visitors can participate in the Try A Boat initiative with FlexiSail, allowing free access to sailing yachts and motor cruisers. Wetwheels will again offer accessible powerboat rides for individuals of all ages and abilities.

The Shipyard, designated as the show’s festival area, will feature live music performances, street food and activities suitable for families. A headline music act is to be announced in the coming months. The show will also feature retail areas offering marine clothing and accessories, and a Dive Tank – presented by Andark – where attendees can try scuba diving under expert supervision.

British Marine has also confirmed the return of the Women in Marine event at the 2025 Southampton International Boat Show (SIBS), along with a revised schedule and venue.

Second-wave ticket pricing is currently in effect, with standard one-day tickets from £24.99 and concession tickets from £19.99. Two children aged 15 and under can enter free with each adult ticket. Tickets can be purchased from the show’s official website.

Exhibitor demand for marina space remains high, and available berths have been increased for 2025. Boats will be grouped by type to enhance visitor navigation and make demonstrations more accessible.

The event is owned and operated by British Marine, the UK trade association for the leisure, superyacht and small commercial marine sector. British Marine supports over 1,300 member organisations and represents an industry employing more than 38,000 individuals across the UK.
