Storm Chaser Cyrena Arnold to Sign Books at R.M. Young AMS 2025 Booth

R.M. Young Company Hosts Book Signing Event with Cyrena Arnold at AMS Annual Meeting

R.M. Young Company is excited to announce a special book signing event with Cyrena Arnold — Meteorologist, Storm Chaser, and Author — at booth 517 during the American Meteorological Society (AMS) Annual Meeting on January 13–14, 2025.

Arnold’s impressive career includes receiving a NASA certificate of appreciation in 2006 for her contributions to aviation safety. She has worked in various roles, from installing weather stations in remote Alaskan regions to serving as a TV Meteorologist and Director of Summit Operations at the Mount Washington Observatory. Arnold has also been featured on popular media outlets like Good Morning America and USA Today. In addition, she was crowned Mrs. New Hampshire in 2022 and has dedicated her time to educating youth about STEM.

Arnold is the author of two children’s books, The Weather Story (2020) and The Hurricane Story (2024), which aim to educate young readers about weather science. Visitors to R.M. Young’s booth can purchase these books and meet the author during the following times:

  • Monday, January 13: 6 PM – 7 PM
  • Tuesday, January 14: 10 AM – 11 AM and 3 PM – 4 PM

Aside from the book signing, R.M. Young will also showcase its latest product, the ResponseONE-PRO. This all-in-one weather station features an access port for easy maintenance, allowing users to replace the protective filter and internal sensor module in the field. The ResponseONE-PRO is designed for marine data buoy applications, offering accurate and reliable data in harsh marine environments.

Attendees can watch R.M. Young Company’s interview with Arnold, where she discusses her career, experience with YOUNG sensors, and the inspiration behind her books.
