Subsea 7 Secures Major EPCI Contract Offshore Norway

Offshore engineering and services company Subsea 7 has recently announced the successful award of a significant engineering, procurement, construction, and installation (EPCI) contract for a project offshore Norway.

The contract encompasses the delivery of pipeline bundles, spools, protection covers, and tie-ins utilizing key vessels from Subsea 7’s fleet for a confidential client. While the financial specifics remain undisclosed, the contract is classified as substantial, falling within the $150 million to $300 million range.

Commencing immediately, project management and engineering activities will kick off at Subsea 7’s offices in Stavanger and Aberdeen. The fabrication of pipeline bundles is scheduled to take place at Wester, with offshore operations slated for the years 2025 to 2027.

Commenting on the contract win, Erik Femsteinevik, Vice President for Subsea 7 Norway, stated, “By engaging early in the field development process, we can optimize design solutions and contribute to a positive final investment decision.”
