Subsea7 Extends Contract for Seven Viking Vessel

Subsea7 has announced the extension of its contract with Eidesvik Seven Chartering, their joint venture with Norwegian owner Eidesvik, for the subsea vessel Seven Viking. The contract extension includes the remaining option for 2026 and adds 2027 as another firm year.

The Seven Viking is a 2013 Ulstein-built vessel that has proven to be a valuable asset in Subsea7’s operations. The company has also secured an additional option to extend the fixture into 2028, providing flexibility for future project requirements.

Market-Based Rates for 2027 and 2028

According to Eidesvik, the rates for the years 2027 and 2028 are based on current market terms, reflecting the dynamic nature of the offshore industry. This agreement ensures that both parties are aligned with prevailing market conditions and are poised to adapt to any fluctuations in the sector.

This contract extension reinforces the strong partnership between Subsea7 and Eidesvik, highlighting their commitment to collaboration and operational excellence in the offshore sector. The Seven Viking continues to play a crucial role in supporting Subsea7’s subsea engineering and services activities, further solidifying its position as a reliable and efficient vessel in the company’s fleet.
