Subsea7 Secures Contract Extension for Seven Viking Subsea Vessel

Eidesvik Seven Chartering Extends Contract for Subsea Vessel Seven Viking

Eidesvik Seven Chartering, a joint venture company between Subsea7 and Eidesvik Offshore, has recently announced an agreement to extend the contract for the subsea vessel Seven Viking. This extension comes as a result of Subsea7 declaring the remaining option for 2026 and 2027, with an additional firm year option for 2028.

The rates for 2027 and 2028 are set based on current market terms, showcasing a commitment to fair and competitive pricing in the industry. This extension solidifies the ongoing partnership between Eidesvik and Subsea7, highlighting a strong collaboration that benefits both parties.

“We are very pleased to see this new contract for Seven Viking and look forward to continuing our long and strong collaboration with Subsea7,” said Helga Cotgrove, CEO of Eidesvik, emphasizing the positive outlook for the future of this partnership.

About Seven Viking

Seven Viking is a versatile subsea vessel that offers a range of services including IRM, light construction, scale treatment, and diving support. Built in 2013, this state-of-the-art vessel boasts impressive specifications, with a length of 106.5 meters and a breadth of 24.5 meters, providing ample space to accommodate up to 90 personnel.

The vessel is equipped with a 135-ton AHC offshore crane, as well as two work-class ROVs and one observation class ROV, enhancing its capabilities for various subsea operations. With a focus on efficiency and reliability, Seven Viking is a valuable asset in the offshore industry.

This contract extension for Seven Viking reflects the continued demand for high-quality subsea services and the confidence in the capabilities of Eidesvik Seven Chartering. As the industry evolves, partnerships like the one between Eidesvik and Subsea7 play a crucial role in meeting the needs of clients and ensuring successful project outcomes.
