Subsea7 Secures Subsea Development Contract Offshore Egypt

Oslo-listed offshore contractor Subsea7 has recently announced the successful award of a significant engineering, procurement, commissioning, and installation (EPCI) contract for a subsea development project offshore Egypt.

Valued between $50 million and $150 million, the project entails the installation of flexible pipelines, umbilicals, and associated subsea infrastructure to facilitate a tie-back to existing offshore facilities.

Subsea7 has revealed that engineering and project management activities will commence immediately at its operational centers in France, Portugal, and Egypt, with offshore execution scheduled for 2026.

While specific project details were not disclosed, David Bertin, Senior Vice President for GPC East at Subsea7, highlighted the importance of early engagement and alignment with the client in achieving efficient project solutions.

According to Bertin, “Our early engagement has played a crucial role in shaping a shared vision and delivering innovative, efficient solutions. This contract award underscores the strength of our collaboration, our proven track record, and our dedication to safe, high-quality execution. We are delighted to support our client in enabling and executing such a strategically significant project in Egypt.”
