Svitzer Signs Global EcoTow Agreement with Wallenius Wilhelmsen
Svitzer, a leading provider of towage and marine services, has recently announced a significant milestone in its commitment to decarbonization by signing a global EcoTow agreement with the Wallenius Wilhelmsen group. Through the implementation of the mass balance principle, Svitzer will utilize biofuels in its network and allocate the resulting CO₂ savings to Wallenius Wilhelmsen, enabling the company to mitigate emissions associated with towage services.
