Tekmar Scoops $6.2M Offshore Wind Cable Protection Contract

Offshore Services Firm Tekmar Group Secures $6.2 Million Contract for U.K. Offshore Wind Farm

Offshore services firm Tekmar Group has recently announced that it has secured a significant contract to supply its cable protection system for a U.K. offshore wind farm. The contract, valued at around $6.2 million, involves the design and supply of Tekmar’s flagship Generation 10 cable protection system (CPS) along with associated ancillaries such as cable hang-off clamps.

The client, whose identity has not been disclosed, has entrusted Tekmar with this project, which is set to commence immediately, with completion scheduled for 2025. This marks the first collaboration between Tekmar and the client on a project of this scale, as part of their Engineering Procurement, Construction and Installation (EPCI) scope of supply.
