TGS Secures Two New Contracts for 4D Streamer Acquisition Offshore Norway

Oslo-listed surveyor and seismic data specialist TGS has recently announced the acquisition of two new contracts for 4D streamer projects offshore Norway.

The projects, one in the North Sea and the other in the Norwegian Sea, are set to commence in June this year and are expected to span approximately 80 days each.

While specific details regarding the client and financial aspects of the contracts remain undisclosed, this development brings TGS’ 4D streamer summer backlog to a total of six projects.

Earlier in January, TGS had secured four 4D streamer contracts, with three in the North Sea and one in the Barents Sea, totaling around 180 days of work. Subsequently, the company also inked two contracts for offshore wind site surveys off the coast of the UK.
