Tidewater Secures Charter Deal with OKEA for North Pomor Vessel

OSV giant Tidewater has recently announced a charter agreement with Norwegian continental shelf operator OKEA for its platform supply vessel, North Pomor.

The North Pomor, a 2013-built unit, has been contracted for a period of six months at an undisclosed day rate.

According to industry brokers, the charter is expected to commence in March with the possibility of up to three months of extension options.

Prior to this agreement, the Simek-built PSV had been engaged in various spot fixtures for OKEA. Its recent activities include supply operations for ConocoPhillips and Harbour Energy in Norway.
