Trelleborg Group Acquires Masterseals, Expanding Sealing Solutions Portfolio

Trelleborg Group, a global leader in engineered polymer solutions, has announced the acquisition of Masterseals, a specialized company based in Singapore that focuses on sealing solutions for the energy sector and industrial applications. The acquisition is being made through Trelleborg’s business area, Trelleborg Sealing Solutions.

Masterseals is renowned for its expertise in developing engineered sealing solutions tailored for demanding operating environments. The company’s offerings cater to small series production and are known for their high performance and reliability. Additionally, Masterseals operates as a technical service center, providing aftermarket support and ensuring short delivery times for its customers. In the fiscal year 2024, the company recorded sales exceeding USD$4.18 million (SEK 40 million). Its office and manufacturing facility are strategically located in western Singapore, in close proximity to Trelleborg’s Customer Solution Center.

The acquisition of Masterseals will further enhance Trelleborg’s portfolio of sealing solutions, allowing the company to offer a broader range of products and services to its global customer base. By integrating Masterseals’ expertise and capabilities into Trelleborg Sealing Solutions, the company aims to strengthen its position in the energy and industrial sectors.

The transaction is expected to be finalized during the third quarter of 2025, subject to regulatory approvals and customary closing conditions. Trelleborg Group looks forward to welcoming the Masterseals team into its organization and collaborating to drive innovation and customer value in the field of sealing solutions.
