DOF Group Secures Long-Term Contracts with Petrobras in Brazil

Norway’s vessel owner, DOF Group, has once again proven its capabilities by winning new long-term assignments off the coast of Brazil with Petrobras, the country’s state-owned energy giant.

One of the contracts is for the AHTS vessel, Skandi Logger, which has been awarded a four-year engagement with Petrobras. With a remarkable 250-ton bollard pull, this 2009-built ship is set to begin its new contract in February 2026. As part of the agreement, the vessel will be reflagged to the Brazilian flag, showcasing DOF Group’s commitment to local operations.

On the other hand, the second contract involves the Skandi Achiever vessel, which will serve as an ROV support vessel for Petrobras. Equipped with two work-class remotely operated vehicles (WROVs) and a subsea crane, the Skandi Achiever will enter into a four-year engagement starting in December 2025, seamlessly transitioning from its current contract with another client in Brazil.

These latest contracts, valued at over $275 million, highlight DOF Group’s strong presence in the offshore industry and its ability to secure long-term partnerships with major players like Petrobras. This success comes on the heels of the company’s recent contract wins in Canada, further solidifying its position as a leading provider of offshore support services.
