Voyis Introduces Voyis Academy and Voyis Protect to Enhance Underwater Optical Systems

Voyis, a leading provider of underwater optical systems, has unveiled two innovative service offerings aimed at improving the performance, reliability, and value of its flagship Discovery Stereo Vision System. The newly launched Voyis Academy and Voyis Protect services are designed to empower users with structured training and comprehensive maintenance solutions.

Voyis Academy: Structured Training for Underwater Optical Excellence

Voyis Academy is a comprehensive training program tailored to help users maximize the potential of the Discovery Stereo Vision System. Whether you are a novice operator or an experienced survey professional, the Academy offers a tiered approach to learning key topics such as system integration, VSLAM-enabled data acquisition, and 3D model generation using cutting-edge photogrammetry software.

Delivered both remotely and onsite, the Academy combines theoretical instruction with practical demonstrations and hands-on exercises. Each session equips teams with the skills to enhance data quality, mitigate operational risks, and streamline underwater survey processes—resulting in quicker deployment timelines and more reliable outcomes.

Voyis Protect: Maintenance and Calibration for Long-Term Reliability

Voyis Protect is a structured maintenance and calibration service aimed at preserving the long-term accuracy and functionality of the Discovery Stereo Vision System. Each service cycle includes a thorough inspection of all optical, mechanical, and electronic components, along with recalibration using precision reference targets to uphold precise 3D modeling and image clarity.

Aside from visual and functional assessments, the service encompasses firmware updates and optional hardware enhancements to ensure that the system remains up-to-date with the latest technological advancements. A new Certificate of Calibration is issued with each service, instilling confidence in the integrity of data for critical underwater inspections.
