WALLENIUS SOL Acquires Mann Lines: Strengthening Shipping Capabilities

Swedish shipping company WALLENIUS SOL has recently made a strategic move by acquiring British Mann Lines, a provider of liner RoRo and container vessel services, logistics, and forwarding. This acquisition marks a significant expansion of WALLENIUS SOL’s customer base, service offerings, and presence in key markets.

Headquartered in the Bay of Bothnia, WALLENIUS SOL’s acquisition of Mann Lines reinforces its platform for growth, with a focus on building a more sustainable and digitally driven shipping and logistics industry. Elvir Dzanic, CEO of WALLENIUS SOL, emphasized the importance of this acquisition in enhancing the company’s position as a reliable partner for customers in key operating regions.

Enhanced Service Capabilities and Network Expansion

The partnership between Mann Lines and WALLENIUS SOL will result in a larger fleet and an expanded port network that stretches from the Baltic countries to North West Europe. This collaboration will also establish connections with reliable partners in major hub ports, extending the service range to destinations such as Ireland, Spain, and beyond.

With highly complementary routes between the two companies, the merger will improve service capacity and regularity. Additionally, the minimal customer overlap between WALLENIUS SOL and Mann Lines will allow the Swedish company to onboard approximately 200 new clients, further solidifying its market presence.

Driving Innovation in Shipping and Logistics

As the industry continues to evolve, WALLENIUS SOL is committed to delivering tailored solutions that meet the evolving needs of its customers. By combining the strengths of Mann Lines with its own expertise, WALLENIUS SOL aims to lead the way in developing innovative and sustainable shipping practices.
