Twin Vee PowerCats Co. (which manufactures, distributes, and markets power sport boats) has launched Wizz Banger. Although to UK readers this may sound like a very dodgy firework from the 1970s (and with an extra H, is also the name of a firearm, and a urinal cleaner), Wizz Banger has been developed to be the tech force behind BoatsForSale.com.
Thus, the plan for Wizz Banger is developing an online marine commerce and sales platform to modernise and streamline the recreational boating industry. By integrating AI-powered tools, the aim is to create a seamless and transparent ecosystem for buyers, sellers, dealers, lenders, and manufacturers with the goal of transforming the $57 billion recreational boating industry.
Twin Vee entered into an agreement to acquire BoatsForSale.com and YachtsForSale.com in February 2025 – a strategic move that ramps up Twin Vee’s diversification in the digital marine marketplace space and by utilizing Wizz Banger’s AI-powered tools into BoatsForSale.com’s digital marketplace, the initiative is being seen as a value add for Twin Vee’s primary business of manufacturing boats, while developing a separate digital business.
Wizz Banger’s proprietary AI tools are purpose-built to simplify and optimize the marine listing process. It seemingly works by analyzing millions of archived boat images and combining them with key data points like year, make, model, and engine hours. The system then generates scored boat listings that reflect condition, pricing accuracy, and market competitiveness.
The tools are supported by processes that guide users through every step of the transaction by automating responses, surfacing comparable listings, and assisting with pricing strategy and dealer feedback. The system will draw from national listing databases, auction results, and verified dealer inputs.
“Twin Vee is excited to launch Wizz Banger to bring our customers a cutting-edge, tech-driven boating experience,” says Joseph Visconti, president and CEO of Twin Vee PowerCats. “BoatsForSale.com and its AI tools align perfectly with our commitment to innovation, quality, and customer satisfaction, making it easier than ever for boating enthusiasts to find, purchase, or trade their boats.”
The company recently reported a 92 per cent increase in its first quarter 2025 revenues (from the previous quarter). At the time, Visconti mentioned he was excited about the upcoming launch of a new interactive website that the company’s been working on for over a year. “This isn’t just a website facelift,” he said, claiming that it would be a total transformation of customer first interaction.
He was in a buoyant mood, stating that Twin Vee was in a good place. “Our inventory has rightsized. Our product line continues to expand. Our factory is completed and evolving, and our digital strategy is entering a new phase. Through it all, we remain committed to operational discipline, American craftsmanship and delivering real value to our customers and most importantly to our shareholders . . . God bless America.”
Wizz Banger’s BoatsForSale.com has what’s described as a mobile-first, consumer-centric platform. Powered by natural language processing, the platform’s smart search engine allows users to input queries like “Find a 24-foot Twin Vee centre console under $100,000 in Florida” and receive tailored results instantly. This intuitive interface caters to buyers preferring digital platforms and will ensure a seamless experience for customers looking for the boat they want.
Whether it can deliver as promised remains to be seen, but in the meantime, let’s hope the name gets quietly retired for something less . . . . . well . . . . sparkly.
