Resolve Marine Expands Operations in U.S. Gulf Region

Resolve Marine has announced a strategic merger with the marine division of Construction Solutions International, aimed at bolstering its service centers in the U.S. Gulf region. This move is set to enhance Resolve Marine’s capabilities and presence in the area.

Construction Solutions International, a well-known provider of industrial marine and commercial diving services in the region, caters to industries in the Theodore Industrial Canal and West Mobile, Alabama. With this merger, Resolve Marine will be able to tap into new markets and serve a wider range of customers.

The transaction, which was completed on February 25, 2025, includes the transfer of equipment, personnel, and assets from Construction Solutions International to Resolve Marine. Notable additions to Resolve Marine’s fleet include cranes, barges, and the M/V Enterprise, a 64-foot shallow draft river tugboat, along with its captain and crew.

Founded in 1984 by Jerry W. Bailey Jr., Construction Solutions International has built a strong reputation in the industry. Bailey will continue to play a key role in supporting Resolve Marine’s business development efforts following the merger.

Under the leadership of A.W. McAfee, Director of Marine Service Centers, Construction Solutions International will be integrated into Resolve Marine’s Marine Service Centers division. This consolidation of resources and expertise is expected to drive growth and enhance service offerings in the region.

Adam Buffington, Manager of Marine Service Centers, Gulf Coast, expressed his enthusiasm about the merger, stating, “As we establish ourselves as a new division within Resolve Marine, we are excited to welcome skilled personnel, additional equipment, and a tow vessel to better serve our expanding customer base. Our team of 21 experts is well-equipped to meet the growing demand for diving services, vessel inspections, marine construction, and industrial solutions in the Gulf region.”
