Trident Energy Partners with Enaimco for Digital Twin Solutions in Equatorial Guinea

International oil & gas company Trident Energy has recently entered into a strategic SaaS license agreement with Enaimco, a leading Canadian technology company specializing in digital solutions for subsea operations. The collaboration aims to provide Trident Energy with a cutting-edge digital twin for its subsea assets located in Equatorial Guinea.

Simon Lorelli, Technical and Projects Manager at Trident Energy ML, expressed his enthusiasm about the partnership, stating, “Trident Energy has been exploring global digital solutions to establish an operationally driven integrity management system that maximizes internal resources and enhances our operations with data-driven engineering.”

Enaimco’s digital twin solution offers advanced features, functionalities, and a user-friendly interface that has quickly made a positive impact on Trident Energy’s operations. By maximizing data, automating workflows, and optimizing subsea operations, the Operational Twin is set to enhance the integrity and efficiency of Trident Energy’s offshore activities.

Trident Energy operates the Ceiba Field and Okume Complex in Equatorial Guinea, holding a 40.375% equity share in Block G in the Gulf of Guinea. These assets, which span water depths of 25 to 800 meters, have been under Trident Energy’s operatorship since 2017. Additionally, the company holds a 34% non-operating interest in Block S, where Kosmos Energy serves as the operator.

In late 2024, Trident Energy successfully brought online its first infill well in Block G, utilizing a drillship owned by Noble Corporation. This achievement marks a significant milestone in the company’s efforts to enhance its production capabilities and operational efficiency in the region.
