Petrobras on the lookout for 11 walk-to-work vessels

Petrobras Invites Bids for Walk-to-Work Vessels

Brazilian state-owned oil and gas giant Petrobras is inviting vessel owners and operators to apply to tenders for the provision of a total of 11 walk-to-work vessels.

Tender Details

According to the tender documentation provided by Arctic Offshore, there are three separate tenders open for the vessels.

First Tender: Closing Today

This tender is for two vessels that can hold at least 80 people on board. The contract is for 730 days with mobilisation to occur between September and December 2025.

Second Tender: Closing on Friday, July 18

This tender is for three vessels that must hold between 40 and 60 people on board. The charter period would be between 540 and 1,095 days, with mobilisation planned between February 2026 and June 2027.

Third Tender: Closing on July 23

This call is for six W2W vessels with the capacity to house 60 people on board. The contract is for 730 days, and mobilisation is set for July and September 2026.

Additionally, Petrobras has a long-term tender open for two anchor handlers with a 300-tonne bollard pull. The vessels would be chartered for 8, 10, or 12 years, starting five years after the award. The tender closes on September 30.
