PALFINGER MARINE Showcases Latest Aquaculture Solutions at Aqua Nor 2025

From August 19 to 21, 2025, PALFINGER MARINE will be unveiling its newest products and innovations tailored for the aquaculture sector at Aqua Nor in Trondheim, Norway. Visitors to the event will have the opportunity to explore the PFM crane series, specifically designed to meet the unique needs of fish farming and the service and workboat industry. One of the main highlights of the showcase will be the introduction of the PFM 1500, a compact and versatile crane that sets new standards in reliability and performance.

The PFM 1500: Compact Yet Powerful

The PFM 1500 boasts a maximum outreach of 26.7 meters and a lifting capacity of 3,350 kilograms at full extension. As the smaller sibling of the PFM 2100, this crane represents a significant step forward in the evolution of the PFM series. Its patented P-profile extension boom system enables a wide range of movement and outreach while maintaining the strength and stiffness necessary for demanding lifting tasks. The innovative design not only enhances performance but also improves stability and minimizes weight.

Introducing the PFM 2100

Alongside the PFM 1500, PALFINGER MARINE will also be showcasing the PFM 2100. Despite its size, the PFM 2100 is a powerhouse, capable of lifting up to 4,000 kilograms even at full outreach. Its lightweight yet robust construction, combined with a high-end control valve, ensures fast and efficient operation. With an impressive outreach of over 29 meters, the PFM 2100 offers increased flexibility and space for a wide range of applications. Its optimized structure not only saves deck space but also enhances stability and fuel efficiency.

These cranes cater to a diverse range of requirements, from precise handling to heavy load lifting. By offering a variety of models, PALFINGER MARINE can provide customized crane packages tailored to specific operational needs, often combining multiple cranes in coordinated configurations.

Comprehensive Support for Aquaculture Operations

PALFINGER MARINE not only delivers cutting-edge technology but also offers integrated systems, simplified installation, and efficient service to meet the specific demands of the aquaculture industry. With a robust global service network, the company ensures high availability of spare parts and support for its customers. Local service stations strategically located around the world provide prompt on-site assistance from highly trained engineers, tailored to the unique requirements of aquaculture operations, to maximize uptime and operational safety.
