EnerMech Extends Contract with BP Trinidad and Tobago

UK-headquartered oilfield services specialist EnerMech has secured a two-year extension to its contract with BP Trinidad and Tobago, continuing offshore crane operations on 12 of the operator’s Caribbean platforms.

Initially awarded in 2022, the scope of work includes crane operations, preventive and corrective maintenance, minor modifications, and offshore auditing. The contract also encompasses onshore support, such as technical, planning, and HSE functions.

The workforce for this project consists of approximately 30 Trinidad and Tobago nationals, serving in various roles from crane operators to supervisors and logistics support staff.

This latest contract extension adds to EnerMech’s recent growth trajectory, following the company’s successful bid for a three-year support contract for the Dana Petroleum Triton FPSO in the North Sea. The contract includes options for two additional two-year extensions, demonstrating EnerMech’s commitment to long-term partnerships and quality service delivery.
