Norwegian Vessel Management Provider Aurora Offshore Adds High-End Subsea Vessel to Fleet

Norwegian vessel management and operations services provider Aurora Offshore, part of the Borealis Group, has recently announced the addition of a state-of-the-art subsea vessel to its fleet. The vessel, Siem Stingray, was acquired as part of a vessels transfer agreement with Sea1 Offshore.

Siem Stingray, built in 2014, boasts impressive features including a 250t AHC Crane, 1300 m2 Deck Area, and accommodation for 110 people. The vessel is currently engaged in a long-term contract with Subsea7.

This latest addition comes after the successful transfer of two other vessels, Siem Pearl and Siem Challenger, earlier in January. The handover process was completed at locations in Harøy, Norway, and Aberdeen, respectively.

Aurora Offshore is set to receive a total of 11 vessels as part of its collaboration with Sea1 Offshore, formerly known as Siem Offshore and Siem Oil Services Invest. The addition of these high-end vessels further strengthens Aurora Offshore’s position in the industry and enhances its capabilities in providing top-notch vessel management and operations services.

With a focus on excellence and innovation, Aurora Offshore continues to expand its fleet and enhance its offerings to meet the evolving needs of the offshore industry. The company’s commitment to quality and efficiency ensures that clients receive the highest level of service and support for their operations.
