SmartSea, powered by SITA, and Digital Energy AI have announced a partnership to provide artificial intelligence (AI) driven maritime solutions to the maritime sector.

This collaboration aims to transform operational efficiency, predictive analytics, and standardization in the marine and offshore energy sectors through advanced AI technologies.

The partnership will integrate AI-driven analytics, real-time monitoring, and predictive maintenance to offer “innovative” solutions that help shipowners and operators enhance fuel consumption, reduce emissions, and comply with environmental regulations.

As the maritime industry navigates towards greener practices, both companies are expected to deliver scalable and intelligent energy management solutions.

Digital Energy AI managing partner Carsten Sonne-Schmidt said: “I am excited about our collaboration with SmartSea. The synergy between our capabilities, footprint, and offerings is genuinely complementary, providing our clients with significantly amplified impact.

“Standardization is the key to unlocking AI’s full potential. By streamlining data management and ensuring interoperability between different systems, this partnership will make AI adoption more impactful and accessible across the offshore industry.”

SmartSea and Digital Energy AI’s joint initiative is expected to enable faster decision-making, enhance efficiency, and address challenges such as data quality.

By leveraging AI, organizations can cut costs, lower emissions, and achieve scalable solutions that meet the industry’s evolving demands.

SmartSea CEO Julian Panter said: “Our partnership with Digital Energy AI marks a significant milestone in our commitment to driving sustainability in the maritime industry.

“By harnessing the power of AI, we can provide shipowners with real-time insights and actionable strategies to improve energy efficiency and reduce operational costs.”
