Teledyne Marine Secures Orders for Compact Navigator

Teledyne Marine has recently announced that it has secured its first orders for the Compact Navigator, the company’s latest ultra-compact autonomous navigation system for subsea and surface vehicles. This groundbreaking technology is revolutionizing the way navigation is handled in the marine industry.

One of the major players in the industry, Ashtead Technology, has placed a significant initial order for the Compact Navigator, marking the first commercial adoption of what is being hailed as the world’s smallest and highest-performing fully integrated autonomous navigation solution.

The Compact Navigator represents a significant advancement in navigation technology by Teledyne Marine. It has been specifically designed to provide high-precision positioning and enhanced performance in a lightweight, ultra-small form factor. This system is ideal for small vehicles and opens up new possibilities for inspection and survey operations that were previously unachievable.

Paul Mariner, Sales Manager at Teledyne Marine, expressed his excitement about the partnership with Ashtead Technology, stating, “Ashtead Technology is a valued partner, and their investment in this leap forward in navigation technology is a testament to the growing demand for versatile, high-performance, compact navigation solutions. The Compact Navigator operates independently of GNSS and excels in acoustically challenging environments, making it perfect for the latest generation of autonomous surface and subsea vehicles.”

This innovative technology is set to transform the way navigation is handled in the marine industry, providing enhanced precision and performance in a compact package. With the first orders already secured, Teledyne Marine is poised to make a significant impact on the autonomous navigation market.
