DEME Offshore Holding Acquires 50% Stake in BAUER Offshore Technologies

DEME Offshore Holding, a subsidiary of DEME Group, has recently made a strategic move by acquiring a 50% stake in BAUER Offshore Technologies, a prominent company within the BAUER Group. This acquisition marks a significant development in the offshore energy sector.

BAUER Offshore Technologies is known for its expertise in drilling services for the installation of foundations for offshore wind farms. With this acquisition, the company will now be a part of DEME’s Offshore Energy segment, further enhancing its capabilities in the renewable energy industry.

The talented team at BAUER Offshore Technologies, consisting of eight professionals, will continue to provide their consulting and engineering services. Additionally, the company will leverage its specialized equipment, developed and manufactured by the BAUER Group, to deliver top-notch solutions to clients.

As part of the agreement, DEME has the option to acquire the remaining 50% stake in BAUER Offshore Technologies within the next five years. This strategic move demonstrates DEME’s commitment to expanding its presence in the offshore energy market and capitalizing on opportunities for growth.
