DOF Group Secures Contract for FPSO Unit Installation Offshore Africa

Norwegian offshore supply vessel operator DOF Group has announced that it has successfully secured a contract for the installation of a floating, production, storage, and offloading (FPSO) unit from an undisclosed client operating offshore Africa.

Under the terms of the contract, DOF will be responsible for providing project management, engineering, logistical services, and offshore execution. The contract has been described as ‘significant’ by DOF, indicating a value ranging between $15 million and $25 million.

In order to carry out the installation work, DOF plans to deploy two of its Anchor Handling Tug Supply (AHTS) vessels. These specialized vessels are equipped to handle the complex tasks involved in mooring and positioning the FPSO unit.

The project is slated for execution in the second quarter of 2025 in African waters. This marks a significant milestone for DOF Group as it continues to expand its presence in the offshore energy sector.

DOF Group’s expertise in offshore operations and its state-of-the-art fleet of vessels position it as a trusted partner for clients seeking reliable and efficient solutions for their offshore projects.

This latest contract win underscores DOF Group’s commitment to delivering high-quality services and solutions to its clients, further solidifying its reputation as a leading player in the offshore industry.
