Integrated Wind Solutions Secures New Charter Contract for CSOV

Commissioning service operation vessel owner Integrated Wind Solutions (IWS) has recently announced the successful procurement of a new contract for the charter of one of its vessels.

The charter was awarded to IWS Fleet, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company, for the IWS Starwalker CSOV. The fixed-term contract spans nine months with an additional three-month extension option.

The IWS Starwalker is the fourth vessel in the Skywalker class of CSOVs. The charter is set to commence in mid-February 2025 and is designated for an existing client.

With this latest contract, IWS reports a significant increase in its backlog value, estimated at approximately 15% based on the most recent figures from the third quarter of 2024.

Christopher Andersen Heidenreich, COO and managing director of IWS Fleet, commented, “We view this charter agreement for the IWS Starwalker as a testament to the exceptional performance and reliability demonstrated by the Skywalker class vessels and their crew for our core Tier 1 client.”

In a related development, IWS recently secured a 12-month extension for the IWS Skywalker CSOV, with the charter set to commence in the second quarter of 2026, seamlessly continuing from the current charter contracts.
