Integrated Wind Solutions Secures Charter Extension for CSOV

Commissioning service operation vessel (CSOV) owner Integrated Wind Solutions (IWS) has announced the successful extension of the charter contract for one of its vessels, the IWS Skywalker.

The company has secured a 12-month extension for the CSOV, with the charter set to commence at the end of the second quarter of 2026, seamlessly continuing from the current charter contracts.

With the latest reported backlog as of the third quarter of 2024, this contract extension signifies a significant increase of more than 20% in the overall backlog value for IWS.

The IWS Skywalker is currently deployed at the Dogger Bank wind farm, working on the Dogger Bank A and Dogger Bank B phases of the development until their completion in 2025. Additionally, another vessel from the company’s fleet has been contracted for the third phase, Dogger Bank C.

In a strategic move, Integrated Wind Solutions has initiated an uplisting process on the Oslo Stock Exchange. The company, backed by Awilco, currently trades its shares on Euronext Growth Oslo and anticipates the transition to take place around February 3.
