ModuSpec Secures Inspection Contracts in the Caspian Region

MR Group’s ModuSpec, a leading rig intake and inspection specialist, has announced its recent success in securing multiple inspection contracts in the Caspian region. These contracts, valued at over $500,000, involve providing inspection services to major international oil companies (IOCs) for verifying drilling and intervention well control equipment.

The scope of these contracts includes the inspection of two semi-submersible drilling rigs and one platform-based drilling rig. ModuSpec will be responsible for verifying well maintenance activities and the deployment of blowout preventers (BOP) in compliance with company regulations and international standards. The projects are expected to be completed by October.

“Securing further business in the Caspian Sea is extremely pleasing as we have a strong history in the region, supporting over 40 projects in the past 10 years involving a variety of rig types,” stated Mark Watson, ModuSpec’s Operations Director.

“These latest wins not only reaffirm our trusted reputation in the Caspian region but also highlight our continued commitment to delivering technical excellence and tailored solutions that keep our clients operating safely and efficiently.”

ModuSpec’s recent success in the Caspian region follows a similar achievement last month when the company was hired for inspection work offshore Egypt. The company’s expertise and commitment to excellence have positioned it as a preferred partner for rig inspection services in challenging environments.
