Ashtead Technology Partners with Ocean Science Consulting for Environmental Monitoring Solutions

Subsea technology and services provider Ashtead Technology has announced a strategic collaboration with Ocean Science Consulting (OSC) to enhance the delivery of environmental monitoring, mitigation solutions, and compliance services in the offshore energy sector globally.

Through this partnership, Ashtead Technology and OSC will offer integrated environmental monitoring and mitigation solutions to oil and gas as well as offshore wind developers operating in challenging and regulated marine environments.

Ashtead Technology will be responsible for managing and providing subsea technology and solutions for monitoring and mitigating the environmental impact of subsea operations. On the other hand, OSC will contribute expertise in compliance strategies, underwater noise monitoring, data analysis, and regulatory reporting.

“This collaboration significantly strengthens our ability to provide comprehensive support to clients in both the offshore wind and traditional energy sectors. With Ashtead Technology handling logistics and equipment, we can focus on our scientific expertise, such as designing compliance strategies, analyzing environmental data, and producing credible reports and research papers to support regulatory submissions,” said Victoria Todd, Managing Director at OSC.

“Our clients in offshore wind and oil and gas industries are facing increasing pressure to conduct low-impact operations that meet stringent environmental standards. Together with OSC, we are simplifying marine compliance processes and delivering a unique integrated solution to safeguard marine ecosystems,” added Ross MacLeod, Head of Asset Integrity at Ashtead Technology.

This partnership between Ashtead Technology and Ocean Science Consulting highlights a commitment to environmental stewardship and sustainable practices in the offshore energy sector. By combining their respective expertise, the two companies aim to provide comprehensive and effective solutions for environmental monitoring and compliance in marine environments.
